Mix & Mingle Edition: Tiny Houses, Communities + Conversations

Through education, advocacy, collaboration and partnership, we’re working to disrupt the housing status quo to create and build safe, inclusive, attainable and equitable communities.

We'll continue our conversations around the types of tiny houses, their specific requirements and continue exploring Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). Our Guest Speaker, Lakisha Mitchell-Mellor, will be in person this month for part two of this overview. She'll share practical advise and tips for property owners looking to build and rent ADUs. She'll also delve into the permitting process and navigating regulations.

Learn more about tiny houses, tiny house communities and community building through lectures, tours, workshops and information sharing. We’ll gather like minded folks, we’ll talk about affordable and sustainable solutions, housing advocacy and the work being done in the surrounding areas to create zoning and policy change.
